Project Description
Replacement of existing water main along Bluemound Dr between College Ave and Wisconsin Ave. Also includes replacement of water main along Highview Dr on either side of Bluemound Dr, Lilas Dr (Highview Dr-College), Franklin St (Lilas Dr-Termini), Woodman Dr (Bluemound Ct-Bluemound Dr), and Bluemound Ct (Woodman Dr-Termini). Existing sanitary sewer will be televised and reviewed for any repairs required.
Project Justification
Corrosive soils have deteriorated the existing ductile iron water main, which was installed in approximately year 1975. The Town desires to reduce water loss associated with leaks and water main breaks. Both leaks and breaks contribute to water loss in the Town.
