Project Description

The project entails a variety of stormwater infrastructure improvements to satisfy the town’s MS4 permit. This includes capital costs allocated towards an allowance for construction, land, engineering, and contingency costs. Work will include potential land acquisition for the Chappell Pond and Stonehedge Pond as well as possible start of construction.

Project Justification

Grand Chute is responsible for reducing phosphorus and sediment discharges to comply with the waste load allocations for the developed urban area. To satisfy the total maximum daily loads (TMDL) for each respective watershed, a combination of proposed best management practices (BMPs) and existing BMP retrofits are needed to satisfy TMDL allocations for the town’s MS4 permit. Costs/improvements will vary from year to year and may change based on development.
