Project Description
This project aims to replace 20% of our 100+ security cameras annually, ensuring that our surveillance system remains up-to-date and reliable. Regularly upgrading our security cameras will enhance image quality, improve coverage, and bolster security features, which are essential for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our community and facilities. This ongoing investment is critical for sustaining an effective and modern surveillance infrastructure.
Project Justification
Replacing 20% of our security cameras each year is essential to keep pace with technological advancements and to avoid the problems associated with outdated equipment, such as reduced image clarity, increased maintenance costs, and security vulnerabilities. About 20% of our cameras are multi lense, and average life expectancy on video surveillance cameras is about 5-7 years. Modern security cameras offer superior resolution, advanced features like night vision and motion detection, and better integration with current security systems. This strategy ensures that our surveillance infrastructure remains effective in deterring and monitoring security incidents, thereby protecting public safety and property.
