Sunnyview Rd Bridge Replacement

Replace existing bridge structure (B-44-491) with a single span bridge structure.

The existing structure is a triple steel culvert run with two of those culverts having severe corrosion along the waterline. As a result, the current bridge sufficiency rating based on the 2022 inspection report is 42.9. The center culvert has severe corrosion which has resulted in failure along the waterline; the east culvert has severe corrosion along the waterline, which has resulted in a partial failure of the north upstream end. Some settlement of the beam guard above the failed culvert section has occurred. One sanitary manhole on the west approach will require adjustment based on final pavement grades. The depth of the existing water main is unknown beneath the current structure; it will be assumed that beneath the new structure, the existing water main will need to be lowered to account for any overexcavation, or new structural elements.
