Project Description
This project aims to replace the aging network switches within town's infrastructure. Network switches are used for connecting all computer equipment together so that they can function with each other. We connect the following to the network switches: computers, printers, copiers, desk phones, mini computers, large displays, wireless access points, cameras, door security, and scanners
Project Justification
These were replaced in 2026. The equipment is past its 7-year life cycle and will no longer receive support, security patches, or vulnerability patches as of 2031. This project is setting aside funding over 3 years to finance the replacement in 2032.
