Project Description
The urbanization of W Spencer St (Bluemound-Lynndale) street will feature a consistent 12’ vehicle travel lane, 5’ bicycle lanes, curb and gutter, improved street lighting, and 5’ sidewalks on both sides of the street. Intersection improvements will provide adequate turning lanes.
Project Justification
The roadway currently has an inconsistent cross section, insufficient turning lanes, inadequate intersection controls, extremely narrow shoulders, transit stops lacking infrastructure, insufficient street lighting, and very limited pedestrian and bicycle facilities.
