Project Description
Continuation of the Wisconsin Ave Utility replacement project. This section is located along the south side of Wisconsin Ave between Bluemound Dr and Badger Ave.
GCSD 1 - Replace the existing water main, hydrants, and water services.
GCSD 2 - Replace or rehabilitate the existing sanitary sewer and lateral connections.
Project Justification
Corrosive soils have deteriorated the existing ductile iron water main, which was installed in approximately year 1975. The Town desires to reduce water loss associated with leaks and water main breaks. Both leaks and breaks contribute to water loss in the Town.
Based on televising, the existing sanitary sewers have leaks and other deformities. The existing sanitary sewers were installed in approximately year 1967.
