Project Description
The sidewalk will be located on the north side of STH 96. The west end of the project will start at N Westhill Boulevard and will terminate at N. Bluemound Drive, which spans approximately 0.22 miles.
Project Justification
This section will be the final sidewalk connection on the north side of STH 96 from N. Casaloma Drive to N. Badger Ave. The project shows a clear and evident need based on both safety concerns and overall network connectivity. A Fox Valley transit route runs along the project limits, and the addition of the sidewalk would allow for safer transit user access to multiple stops and a transit shelter 400 feet from the project termini.
