Project Description
Replace 2013 Morbark chipper. Used for chipping branches for the semi-annual chipping service provided to Town of Grand Chute single-family home owners. Also is used for chipping branches from fallen trees and post-storm clean up.
Project Justification
Based on anticipated hours and maintenance costs, the chipping machine will reach the end of its useful life by FY 2026. Vehicles and equipment are routinely evaluated and confirmed prior to the year of purchase, based on a vehicle scoring model.
